LAURA'S REVIEW
Darby Thorne just found out her mom has been diagnosed with cancer and isn’t expected to live. Remembering the terrible things she said to her mom at Thanksgiving, Darby feels compelled to leave college and drive through Colorado in the middle of winter to see her mom before she goes into surgery. Driving for hours, she tries to beat the huge snow storm, or snowmaggeden as she calls it, that has swiftly come into the mountainous area. Unable to see from the heavy snowfall and ice, she slowly keeps driving until her window wiper breaks off and she has no option but to stop. Thank goodness there is a rest stop just up the road.
She meets four other fellow travelers also stuck at the rest area due to the storm. As she is leaving her car she looks into the back of another stranded car and sees a little girl locked inside a crate in the van. There is no way to leave, no cell service, no telephone and no idea which of the other stranded strangers is the possible kidnapper. All alone with no one to trust - what would you do?
This begins an edge-of-your-seat psychological suspense and modern day horror story. No Exit runs full steam ahead, and its tense storyline and questionable characters take you on a wild ride that doesn’t let go. There is something to be said about a storyline that is this edgy, dark and action packed. You don’t want to look, but oh my gosh, you can’t stop reading. I was on the edge of my seat reading with one eye closed! I really don’t think I will be able to look at another rest stop again without being reminded of Darby and her fight to survive. I see a future major motion picture in No Exit’s future. Highly recommend!

CRYSTAL'S REVIEW
If you enjoy suspenseful books filled with twists, turns, and a few flips like you’re riding The Incredible Hulk at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, you certainly do not want to miss reading No Exit by Taylor Adams.
College student Darby Thorne is driving westward across the Colorado Rockies to be with her terminally ill mother for Christmas. She is caught in a blizzard and forced to spend the night at a remote rest area. It’s at this rest area that she discovers a young girl locked in an animal cage in a van. Darby knows she needs to help this child, but how? As Darby puts her rescue plans into motion, the story rapidly moves from one edge-of-your-seat event to the next.
Heart-pounding, suspenseful, edge-of-your-seat, thriller is the best way I can describe No Exit. There are a few violent scenes in this book, but after all, it isn’t a romance. I have an extreme dislike for books that give you pages and pages and pages of boring blah-blah. Taylor Adams did a fantastic job of holding my interest. Just as he was getting a little too wordy, BAM!!!, he would throw in another twist.
