Lady Cassandra has always wanted to marry for love. As the season progresses, a “gentleman” sets out to destroy Cassandra’s reputation because she wouldn’t put up with his over-familiarity and his rough treatment. In steps Tom and the rest of the Ravenel family to protect her. As Tom and Cassandra become friends they realize that there is more to their
relationship than anyone though,t but can Tom marry for love? Or does he just want what he can’t have?
I have been a huge fan of this entire series and this book doesn’t disappoint. I found myself smiling as I read. It is sweet and romantic and both characters are well written. I enjoyed the family dynamics and getting to see all of the older characters again. This was a great final book in the series, although I wish it wasn’t ending. You can read this as a stand-alone, but why would you want to? I highly recommend!
