January is Wellness Month!


​Happy New Year, 2017! With every new year comes a feeling of making ourselves better. Maybe your last year’s resolutions may not have made it to February 1st but now you have a chance to try again. Everyone wants to eat better, exercise more, learn a new hobby or simply slow down. Let the library help you on a new path to accomplish these goals. How is that possible? Simply browse the Lafourche Parish Public Library webpage at www.lafourche.org to see what is going on. With January being National Wellness Month, the libraries in our parish are all set to help you.

So, let the library be the place that you go to for those New Year’s resolutions on exercise and wellness. Remember, if these programs don’t fit into your schedule, you can always check out books and DVDs or download an eBook to read at your leisure. There is no excuse to not eat better, exercise more, learn a new hobby, or simply slow down. Make one of your New Year’s resolutions a trip to the library. That will be one resolution that you can keep!
