February is National Children’s Dental Health Month!
The Lafourche Parish Public Library invites you to participate in craft activities and stories at a near-by Branch. Beginning as Children’s Dental Health Day on February 8, 1949, this celebration expanded to a month-long national event in 1981.
Gheens Branch is having a “Toothbrush Giveaway.” Toothbrushes will be handed out all month while supplies last. The “I Love My Dentist” story time and craft will take place on Monday, February 6, at 4:00 pm.
Raceland Branch is hosting “Tooth Fairy” Preschool Story time and Craft on Tuesday, February 7, at 11:30 am.
Drop in at the Choctaw Branch on Thursday, February 9, where “Dental Health Activity Packs and Toothbrushes” (for ages 2-8) will be given out, while supplies last.
Enjoy the “Healthy Teeth” story time at the Bayou Blue Branch on Monday, February 13, at 10:30 am.
Thibodaux Branch is having its “National Dental Health Month Story Time” on Wednesday, February 15, at 10:30 am.
