We’re celebrating all sorts of stuff in April, from National Library Week (April 10 to April 13) to Arbor Day and Earth Day later in the month and, yes, Easter.
We’re celebrating Easter in a big way at all of our library branches with visits from the Easter Bunny (bring your cameras or phones for photos) and Easter egg hunts.
Each of our library branches has something to offer, so grab your Easter baskets and your best smiles and head down to your local Lafourche Parish library branch.
As always, all library programs are free and open to the public and provide a good opportunity to enjoy some family time in a safe and comfortable environment. We’ve also got loads of fun and informative programming going on people of all ages, centering on everything from gardening and robots to Play-Doh to painting. We’re not just storytime anywhere, but, yes, we’ve got great storytimes, too, often featuring guest authors and special guests to educate and entertain children and their families.
So check out the Easter programs below, but don’t forget to pick up a calendar of monthly events from your local library branch or check out our online events calendar at www.lafourche.org. You’ll never know what you’re missing if you don’t.
