We're Bringing the Zoo to You!

It is no secret that kids, and those of us who are kids at heart, love animals. Living in Louisiana we are blessed with unique local wildlife and the amazing exhibits at the Audubon Zoo. If you are a fan of the Audubon Zoo then you are in luck this November. LPPL is hosting the Audubon Zoomobile at our three main branches on November 21. The Audubon Zoomobile will be at the South Lafourche branch at 10:30 am, the Lockport Branch at 1:00 pm, and the Thibodaux Branch at 4:00 pm.

If you have not seen the Audubon Zoomobile, it is a hands-on and interactive program. It is educational and fun with its showcase of exotic animals presented by well-informed presenters. The Audubon Zoomobile has a wide range of animals from those in the rainforest in need of protection and other threatened species from all over the world.

During the program, attendees will learn about animals, why they are important to their habitats, how they need assistance from humans, and how we can help take care and protect them. This presentation aligns with our goal at the public library to help enrich, entertain, and educate our communities. We hope to see you on the 21st for this exciting program!

If you have any questions visit or call your local LPPL branch. All branch contact information is provided on our website www.lafourche.org
