Is physical fitness on your New Year’s resolution list? We are here to help with workshops, activities, and seminars on health and wellness. From meal planning basics to exercise classes to story times and activities, there is something for everyone. Make customized meal plans, learn to stretch food dollars while eating well, get your blood pressure and glucose level checked, or join an exercise class. We offer cardio classes, low impact walking, yoga, and more. Check the branch nearest you for dates and times.

If digital access fits your schedule best, your library has several options. Check out your favorite health magazines on the Flipster app. Clean Eating, Cooking Light, Diabetes Self-Management, Dr. Oz: The Good Life, Gluten-Free Living, Prevention, Shape, and many more are available to you any time, day or night.

The Hoopla app has health resources for every age and area of interest. Ebooks and eAudio books on health and fitness topics and exercise videos for every level fitness can be found in this free app. Need tunes for listening while walking, jogging, or exercising? Hoopla has those too and all are easily accessible from your phone, tablet, and PC.

Consumer Health Complete is another digital resource available through your library. This database offers convenient access to easily understandable health and medical information. Search and browse within medical encyclopedias, popular reference books, and magazine articles for answers to health questions from the comfort of your home at a time that works for you.
