Ask any LPPL staff member which event they are most excited about this summer, & nine times out of ten, you will be told, "Elephant & Piggie!" It's no surprise - everyone seems to love this dynamic duo.
If you are a parent, then you are probably already familiar with Mo Willems' lovable animal characters, including the careful Elephant & his adventurous BFF Piggie. Willems, who grew up in New Orleans, has written a number of insanely popular children's books, Elephant & Piggie being only one of a number of series containing memorable characters. You've heard of the Pigeon & Duckling, as well as Knuffle Bunny, right? Yep, these are just a few of Willems' creations, all of whom resonant with the young & old alike.
Which is why we are so excited to bring Elephant & Piggie to YOU for Summer Reading 2019! You heard us right - Elephant & Piggie will be at an LPPLibrary branch near you this July! Join us for stories, fun, & games with Elephant & Piggie themselves, & be sure to bring your camera because you are not going to want to miss out on all of those photo ops. No registration is required, so grab & friend & make plans to meet Elephant & Piggie this July.
