Did you hear about the EPIC Summer Experience your Lafourche Parish Public Libraries are having yet? Our Summer Experience is well underway with new and exciting things offered each week. You can find out about everything that is happening on our website at www.lafourche.org.
In July, we have performances from JiggleMan (July 6-12), Animal Tales (July 13-19), Roger Day (July 20-26) and Calliope Puppets (July 27-31). Watch them on Facebook, YouTube or our website. We also have a teen painting workshop with Tisa Hill (July 6-10) and an adult painting workshop with LouAnna Guidry (July 13-17). Pick up your art supplies at your local branch then tune in to Facebook, YouTube or our website to paint with the artists. And lastly, don’t forget about our online storytimes Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:30 each week!
If you are feeling crafty but are unsure of what to create, try one of our newest resources called Creativebug. Creativebug can be accessed through our website or at https://www.creativebug.com/lib/lafourche. All you need is your library card and pin number to access thousands of inspiring crafty videos. If you helped your child with the Ellen McCord watercolor turtle craft that was offered in June, you might want to check out the many watercolor videos offered by Creativebug. Do you have more vegetables from your garden than you know what to do with? Then check out the canning videos on Creativebug. The possibilities are endless with Creativebug!
