Dione's Pick: Enemy at the Gates by Vince Flynn/Kyle Mills

CIA operative Mitch Rapp accepts a job protecting the world's first trillionaire, but also uses him as bait to catch a traitor with access to government secrets.

Mitch Rapp is dead as far as the world knows, but the ex-CIA assassin is once again plunged into the quagmire that is Washington D.C. politics. Saving a scientist that can cure all coronavirus outbreaks before they begin and the trillionaire that funds the research is the task of the moment. From the United States to Africa to Saudi Arabia, the globe trotting Rapp needs to find a CIA mole before the enemy can eliminate the future of mankind.

As is usually the case in Mitch’s world, obstacles and problems cause a simple task to be exceptionally complicated. Mitch uses his trusted friends and partners to help him in finding the missing scientist. As things spiral out of control, Mitch realizes that someone is working against him. Can Mitch figure out the mole before the unthinkable happens? Read Enemy at the Gates to find out.

I loved, loved, loved this book! It was another winner in the Mitch Rapp universe. Since I couldn’t put it down, I read it in one day! No spoilers here, but prepare yourself for the ending if you are a long-time fan. Wow! Bravo Kyle Mills for keeping the Mitch Rapp series going in such a spectacular way.
